Private Fundraisers

There are many ways you or your company can support SCTH!  Private fundrasiers not only provide money to help sustain our program, but they also help spread the word about our mission.  Here are a few ideas you might want to consider for your private fundraiser on behalf of SCTH:

Host a home product party on behalf of SCTH.  Many companies, such as Party Lite, Southern Living, Mary Kay, Tastefully Simple, etc. will let you donate your profits to an organization instead of claiming it in merchandise.  Talk to your product representative about ways you can collaborate to benefit SCTH.

If you play in a card club, consider designating SCTH as the recipient of your winnings.

Organize a "Jeans Day" at your work place.  Those people who pay $5.00 (or whatever sum you decide) get to wear jeans to work for a day (or week--it's up to you!)

Host a "house-warming" party for a new family at SCTH.  Ask your guests to bring things such as cleaning supplies, brooms, mops, buckets, toiletries--anything a family might need to set up housekeeping

Purchase $5 gift cards to places like Starbucks, DQ, Target, etc which SCTH staff can give as rewards for clients who are working hard to make their goals.

Purchase a House Pin for either $10 or $14.
